About Me

Hi, I'm Emma, mum of three, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Lifestyle Photographer. I'm a big advocate for women's mental health, particularly in the transition to motherhood and in the raising of children, and am passionate about conscious(ish - we can never get it all "right" - whatever that means!) parenting.

I take photos because I don't have many of me growing up, and wish I did. I take photos because it's my way of documenting life's stories and the things I don't want to forget, like the dimples on my youngest baby's knuckles, the way each of my children choose to dress themselves at different stages, or the delight in their eyes as they roam and play in the garden. Each photo transporting me back to that moment in time, replaying memories and bringing all of the feelings with it.

I take photos because I know just how good it can make our kids feel, seeing themselves in photos, and how it can give them a sense of belonging.

I crave capturing the beauty in real life, without needing to run around and clean up, or make the kids wear their best clothes, bribing them to smile or hide all of the "humanness" before we freeze time in a photo (sometimes easier said than done - the conditioning to have everything picture perfect is strong in all of us!)

Are you brave enough to let me capture you as you are? It's ok, not many are - I can provide guidance and take "normal" photos too haha, while still sneaking the little snippets of real life!
